FSSAI issues 150-plus notices to food companies over misleading ads and labels
- FSSAI said on Saturday it issued over 150 notices to food companies for misleading ads and labelling violations.
- Companies named include Nestle India, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola India, Abbott India, Red Bull India and Mondelez India.
- The regulator sent 12 notices to Amazon and Flipkart, and cancelled the licence of one Amazon warehouse.
- Over 30 notices went to food outlets including KFC, McDonald's and Domino's, with five Domino's licences suspended.
