- IIT Hyderabad and Jindal Steel have set up a new Centre of Excellence CoE for advanced steel research and engineering.
- The centre will work on high-strength and value-added steels, combining IIT Hyderabad’s research with Jindal Steel’s manufacturing expertise.
- Students will get internships, industry projects and placement opportunities, giving them more direct exposure to steel manufacturing and research.
