India now places 95 lakh quick commerce orders every single day
- Quick commerce means delivery in 10 to 30 minutes from small local warehouses called dark stores.
- Datum Intelligence found India's six biggest platforms handled about 95 lakh orders a day in August.
- Blinkit leads with 36.7 percent, then Zepto at 26.2 percent and Swiggy Instamart at 14.4 percent.
- By revenue, China is the world's biggest quick commerce market at about ₹9.72 lakh crore this year.
- India is far behind at ₹53,700 crore, but growing fast.
