India sends second relief aid tranche to flood-hit Nepal
- India sent its second tranche of relief supplies to flood-hit Nepal on August 27, carrying 37.5 tonnes of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief HADR material.
- The Indian Air Force aircraft transported medicines, food packets and essential relief materials to support Nepal’s rescue and recovery efforts after devastating flash floods.
- The latest consignment followed India’s first aid shipment of 10 tonnes of HADR supplies and essential medicines sent earlier to Nepal.
- External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said India remains in close coordination with Nepal authorities and will continue supporting relief operations during the flood crisis.
