India tops Instagram with 480 million users, nearly a quarter of global base
- India had 480.55 million Instagram users as of October 2025, according to Statista.
- The United States is second at 181.75 million, then Brazil at 147 million, Indonesia at 107.6 million and Japan at 63.2 million.
- India alone accounts for nearly a quarter of Instagram's global users. The top three countries together cross 800 million.
- Turkey has the highest reach, with 92.1 percent of its population on the platform. Instagram crossed 3 billion monthly users in 2025.
