India’s EV sector could create five crore jobs by 2030
- Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said India has 57 lakh registered EVs and a seven per cent adoption rate.
- He projected the EV market could reach Rs 20 lakh crore and create five crore jobs across the sector by 2030.
- Gadkari said India must expand electric bus production, as annual demand is nearly double its current capacity.
