- Speaking at SEMICON India 2026, he outlined Semicon 2.0's six pillars, including design, fabs and talent development.
- IT Secretary S Krishnan said the event drew 40,000 delegates and 600-plus firms from 52 countries, up from last year.
- Semicon 2.0 projects will run up to six years, with the India Semiconductor Mission overseeing implementation.
