- Joyalukkas won the Tamil Nadu gold ring tender quoting 1 paisa service charge per ring for 4,41,667 gold rings.
- The health department said on Friday night the Rs 755 crore contract was split 70:30 with Kalyan Jewellers.
- Under the scheme starting September 15, every baby born in a government hospital from June 22 gets a gold ring.
