Mumbai series blasts accused turns lawyer, now represents fellow undertrials
- Nadeem Shaikh, accused in the 13/7 Mumbai serial blasts, has become a criminal lawyer after spending 14 years as an undertrial.
- Granted bail by the Bombay High Court in February, Shaikh now represents four undertrials in court.
- He pursued an LLB degree while in jail and later obtained a Sanad, allowing him to practise law after his release.
- Shaikh says fellow inmates trust him because he understands the challenges they face in jail and the legal system.
