- Odisha held a high-level meeting on Saturday on the ARISE project to protect its 573-km coastline.
- The Asian Development Bank and state disaster authority have done a preliminary coastal assessment.
- The project covers erosion control, blue economy growth, climate-resilient tourism and livelihood security.
- Minister Suresh Pujari said the project will roll out in phases after the final report is complete.
