Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey to hold first defence pact meeting
- Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye will hold the first meeting under their Makkah Joint Defence Agreement in Istanbul on Monday.
- Top foreign and defence officials, along with military chiefs from all three countries, will attend the meeting.
- The pact, signed on August 7, says an armed attack on one member will be treated as an attack on all three.
- The meeting comes amid rising West Asia tensions and could deepen trilateral defence and security cooperation.
