Paytm's CEO Vijay Sharma gets a 75% pay rise following first full year of profitability
- The Paytm board proposed to make the CEO Vijay's fixed pay Rs 7 crore per annum, a 75% rise from Rs 4 crore in FY26.
- He can also earn variable pay of up to Rs 14 crore, or 200% of fixed pay, based on PAT growth.
- This comes after Paytm says an independent benchmarking exercise found his existing remuneration was “materially below median” across comparable CEO groups.
- Paytm's FY26 Revenue was Rs 8,437 crore and net profit was at Rs 552 crore.
