India might launch a green channel for UK and European investments
- ET now reports that Indian Government is contemplating a dedicated channel to simplify investments from European companies.
- Senior officials will handhold investment facilitation process and regulatory approvals ensuring smooth investments.
- This program is in the lines of already launched "Japan Plus" and "Korea Plus" processes which have received good feedback.
- UK is currently the sixth largest inward investor into India with more than $35 Bn investments as of 2025.
