Ted Lasso is reusing Chak De! India’s plot, critics say
- Season 4 has Ted coaching AFC Richmond's second-division women's team, with cliques and infighting to resolve.
- A review of episode 4 called its bar fight scene a near-remake of Chak De! India's restaurant scene.
- In the 2007 film, the players fight men harassing a teammate and become a real team in the process.
- Critics have made the comparison before, with Season 2’s “Led Tasso” storyline echoing a similar plot device from the film.
