India’s EV exports surge as shipments cross 10,000 cars
- Exports rose to ₹3,550 crore between April and June 2026, from ₹214 crore in the same period last year.
- Shipments went from 1,309 cars to 10,802 cars.
- Europe drove it. Spain took nearly 40 percent of the total, and the UK went from buying one Indian car to 2,646.
- Maruti Suzuki accounted for about 97 percent of India's EV exports, led by its e-Vitara model.
