Kerala MLAs can now use funds to buy new KSRTC buses
- Kerala government has allowed MLAs to use constituency funds to buy new buses for KSRTC.
- Each MLA can fund the purchase of up to three buses under the scheme for 2026-27.
- Bus type and routes will be decided with KSRTC, prioritising passenger needs in the concerned constituencies.
- KSRTC will cover fuel, staff salaries, maintenance and other operating costs for the new buses.
