Naidu proposes bullet train corridor linking 3 southern states
- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu proposed a bullet train corridor connecting Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
- The proposed route would link Amaravati, Bengaluru and Chennai, passing through Kuppam in Andhra Pradesh.
- Naidu also suggested a common logistics network, dry ports and stronger infrastructure cooperation among southern states.
- The proposal was made at the 31st Southern Zonal Council meeting on 20 August, chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu.
