NASA’s Roman telescope to probe dark universe, exoplanets
- NASA plans to launch the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope on August 30 aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket.
- Roman will survey billions of galaxies to study dark energy, dark matter and how the universe has evolved.
- The telescope will also search for exoplanets, including planets far from Earth, and test whether Einstein’s theory of gravity still works accurately across very large cosmic distances.
