Two workers rescued from Nepal's Trishuli 3A tunnel after nine days of flooding
- Rescuers on friday pulled two workers alive from the tunnel of a stricken Nepali hydropower plant, nine days after the flood struck Nepal.
- They went in after hearing voices, and are still searching for 42 people unaccounted for at that site alone.
- The tunnel runs more than four kilometres, and it took six days just to find its entrance through the mud.
- Oxygen pipes inside kept air flowing, and rescuers found a dry chamber, which is why they kept looking.
