Jaishankar to lead India’s delegation at UN General Assembly 2026
- External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will lead India’s delegation at the 81st United Nations General Assembly UNGA in New York.
- Jaishankar is scheduled to address the high-level UNGA session on September 26, during the September 22–28 General Debate.
- He will also hold bilateral and plurilateral meetings during his visit, according to the Ministry of External Affairs.
- This year’s UNGA theme is “Restoring trust, managing transformation: A UN that delivers for all”, with discussions on global cooperation, climate action and sustainable development.
